The sensational hiplife trio Praye has said that it is good that the media check entertainers but they should be cautious in their reportage.
This comes in the wake of reports that one of its members, Praye Tietia, had failed to pay the financial firm, UT Financial services after he took a car loan from them. The reports said the car was seized from the artiste’s girl while she was driving it.
Speaking exclusively to Myjoyonline.com, the group did not deny the story but said that all efforts have been put in place to resolve the issue amicably and they will be holding a press conference on it shortly.
They however said as much as they will like the media to check and report on artistes since they are role models, the media sometimes over hyped the issue to make it sound as if they are different and they are not bound to go wrong.
Touching on the future of the group, Praye said they are working on a couple of projects which includes discovering of new talents.
They disclosed to Myjoyonline.com that they are working on a single which they will release by the end of the year. The single will be called ‘Gyegbordi’ which means Patience.
“Other singles will follow the release of the ‘Gyegbordi’ till we get twelve solid tracks which we will put together to make an album” the trio revealed.
Praye recently returned from Kampala, Uganda where they performed at the Zain Africa Challenge final and noted that they were overwhelmed by the reception they got there.
They are currently looking at promoting their music across the African continent and due to this, they have planned a couple of concerts which will take off in Ghana. They will perform in all the regions of Ghana, some cities in Africa and the world.
One of the trio, Praye ‘honiho’ (Eugene) also known as Choir master confirmed rumours that he was dating the famous actress Beverly Afaglo. He said they have been dating for three years now.
Asked if he controls or have any influence on the type of roles Beverly plays, Praye ‘Honiho’ said he does not control her much but does not allow her to take up sexually seductive roles.
