President Mills has pledged to pay particular attention to the needs of the Wa campus of the University for Development Studies.
The President says he will ensure that the university is well resourced and provided with all the necessary facilities to enhance academic work.
The Wa campus of the UDS is home to over 60 percent of the student of the university’s population but lacks major infrastructure.
The President however assured of improvement when he cut sod for work to begin on a library complex.
Some students expressed delight at the president’s pledge to develop the university.
