Reverend Isaac Ababio, Teshie District Superintendent of the Apostolic Church, Ghana, at the weekend reiterated the call on Ghanaians to have attitudinal change in order to help transform the nation.
“There should be a total transformation in the lives of people to move the country forward,” he stated.
Rev. Ababio made the call when he delivered the sermon to round off activities marking the 55th anniversary celebration of the Central Assembly of the Church at Teshie under the theme: “Quest for Excellence.”
He paid tribute to the founding fathers of the Central Assembly for their vision and foresight and hoped the spiritual, physical, and moral transformation of members would propel the church onto greater heights.
Rev. Ababio asked members to be at peace with their neighbours in order to achieve excellence.
On the upcoming elections, the District Superintendent said the church’s hierarchy had directed that all services should be closed at 0900hours on Sunday December 7, 2008 voting day.
He asked members of the church to comport themselves on voting day, cautioning that the Church would not shield anyone found disturbing the peace by flouting electoral laws.
