Momentum is building at Obomeng in the Eastern Region as the 2026 Adom Kwahu Easter festivities gather full force, drawing hundreds of revellers to the heart of this year’s celebration.
After a lively start, the atmosphere has intensified, with patrons trooping into the town in anticipation of an action-packed second day.

The scenic Kwahu ridge is once again alive with colour, as both residents and visitors soak in the festive spirit that has become synonymous with the annual Easter celebration.
As part of activities lined up to thrill patrons, organisers have introduced a variety of interactive and entertaining segments aimed at keeping audiences fully engaged.
A major highlight is the all-male cooking competition, where Adom presenters are set to swap their microphones for cooking pots in a fun and competitive culinary showdown.
Patrons will also be treated to the Goodies Shito activation, featuring a lively mix of dance contests and soccer games, adding a playful and energetic twist to the day’s activities.
For lovers of lyrical prowess, the Kasahari rap battle is expected to bring together emerging talents ready to battle it out with wit and wordplay.
Adding to the excitement is the Lavonce Tomato Mic “flip-the-bottle” challenge, a creative crowd-puller designed to test skill, precision and audience interaction.

To round off the experience, the Akwaaba Bash will usher revellers into the night with high-energy music and performances, setting the tone for a fun-packed Easter celebration.
