The owners, a Presenter and two panelists of local language radio station, Montie FM, who were convicted for contempt by the Supreme Court last week, will re-appear Wednesday for sentencing.
The panelists, Godwin Ako Gunn and Alistair Nelson, show host, Salifu Masse and owners of the radio station were found guilty of contempt charges following threats by the panelists to kill the Judges.
The panelists, on a discussion programme on the station threatened to kill judges who ordered the deletion of over 56, 000 'illegal' names from the voters register.
They face a possible jail term or fine, although some legal experts predict the panelists especially are very likely to go to jail.
Meanwhile, Lawyers for the contemnors have publicly retracted the offensive statements made by his clients against the Justices.
Also, Godwin Tamakloe has apologised specifically to two of the Justices – Justice Sule Gbadegbe and Chief Justice Georgina Theodora Wood – who were specifically mentioned in the threatening comments.
The host of the programme, Salifu Maase known as Mugabe, the two panellists and owners of the station appeared before the Supreme Court on Monday, July 18 after they were ordered by the Supreme Court to appear to answer for the charges.
Alistair Nelson told the court he suffered a condition, "kpokpo gbligbli" which forced him to make the contemptuous comments.
The contemnors pleaded guilty and the owners of the station through their counsel pleaded with the court to temper justice with mercy.
They were found guilty and ordered to re-appear before the court on July 27, 2016 for sentencing.
