Faustina Elipklim Akurugu, Member of Parliament for Dome-Kwabenya, has donated educational materials and financial support to Kwabenya Senior High School to aid students in their preparation for the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
The donation included 600 mathematical sets for all students, a cash contribution of GH₵20,000 to the school.
During her visit, Ms. Akurugu encouraged the students to remain confident and disciplined as they approach their final exams.
"This is the point you have been working towards for years, and I know it has not been easy. Your efforts, sacrifices, and discipline have brought you this far, and now it is time to show what you have learned. I urge you to go into the exams with confidence.” She said.
“Begin each day with prayer, stay calm, and write carefully the things your teachers have taught you. Trust in the knowledge you have gained, and avoid any form of exam malpractice," she advised.
The MP reminded the candidates that, true success comes from honesty and hard work, urging them to believe in themselves as future leaders of the country. She concluded with a prayer, saying, "May God guide your thoughts and give you success."
The headmistress of Kwabenya SHS expressed gratitude to the MP for her timely support, and complementing the efforts torwads teaching and learning conditions.
Ms. Akurugu reaffirmed her commitment to supporting education in the constituency, urging students to make their families and communities proud through excellent performance.
