Member of the music group, 4x4, Captain Planet says his latest single "Kpoli Kpoli" was inspired by a movie he watched on a plane.
In an interview with Doreen Avio, the "Monkey dey work, Baboon dey chop" hitmaker said, the movie was about two high school students who although in love, found it difficult to express their feelings to each other.
"The two high school students had feelings for each other but couldn't date.
After school, they got married to different people.
"So at one old school re-union, the guy asked the lady why she didn't give him a chance and the lady said she was afraid the guy will tell his friends". he narrated.
He said, it was not difficult to put something together after, since the movie was very relatable.
"Kpoli Kpoli is a story I created because I like to do conceptual music. I like telling stories in my music that people can relate to.
"If you check my archives; from "Kooko Aduro", "Obi agye obi girl" to the others, I was just telling a story," he said.
Captain Planet is currently promoting his newest hit song 'Kpoli Kpoli' which was produced by Genius Selection.
