An Accra High court has overturned the election results of the Eastern Regional Football Association election restoring Nana Kwadwo Budu II as chairman.
Last Sunday, Abdul Ganiyu Lawal cruised to a landslide victory to retain his post.
Lawal polled an impressive 147 votes with his main challenger; Nana Budu managing a paltry 17 votes out of the total valid votes cast in elections.
The Ghana Football Association has been fined 30,000 Ghana cedis for confirming Lawal as chairman
