A winner of last year's 40 under 40 entrepreneurs, Nana Owiredu Wadie has been enstooled development chief of Kwahu-Nkwatia in the Eastern region.
The enstoolment took place at the palace of the chief of Kwahu-Nkwatia.

Known in private life as Richard Owiredu Wadie, the business mogul seeks to lead the developmental transformation of Kwahu-Nkwatia in the shortest possible time.
The colorful ceremony was attended by the Omanhene of the Kwahu traditional area, Daasebre Akuamoah Agyepong, political leaders including Director-General of the National Lottery Authority, Sammy Awuku, NPP's Henry Nana Boakye and some friends and well wishers.

Nana Owiredu Wadie, an indigene of the area merited the criteria by the traditional council hence his enstoolment.
The traditional council said his virtues, educational and business backgrounds and achievements in life as an achiever influenced their decision to make him the Nkosuohene (Development Chief).

The town, though one of the fast developing areas in Kwahu need a person who will facilitate development and help fix the infrastructure deficits in the area.
His coronation was climaxed with live stage performances from musicians Stonebwoy and Charles Kwadwo Fosu also known as Daddy Lumba.
They thrilled music lovers and the audience to some splendid tunes.

Nana Owiredu Wadie is the founder and owner of Livic Ventures and Kabaka Constructions and Investments. He is an astute business man with 20 years experience in the Investment, Supply of General Goods and Merchandise and the Construction.
He is driven by the love of God which fuels his drive to help the underprivileged with a special interest in children and women. He hopes to be able to brighten the lives he encounters.
He attended the Presbyterian Boy's Secondary School (PRESEC). He is married with three (3) children.
Through his non-profit making organisation, the Kabaka foundation, Nana Owiredu Wadie has changed the lives of many people across the country the renovation & expansion of neo and prenatal wards at Eastern regional hospital, a new Police station with barracks at Kwahu Nkwatia and Winneba.
He has also paid hospital bills for detained nursing mothers and distributed waste bins to institutions at Kwahu Nkwatia.
