NDC leaders in the Ketu South district of the Volta region have denounced a group claiming to belong to the party.
The group which calls itself NDC Youth in Action for Development demonstrated against government on Friday.
It accuses the Mills administration of neglect and failure to honour promises to give Aflao its share of development projects. The group is also demanding the removal of the DCE for the area.
Meanwhile, the DCE for Ketu South, Bernard Amable, speaking on behalf of the party, dismissed the demands of the demonstrators.
He said the people are only protesting against the move by the district to stamp out the “alarming crime rate” in the area which has the potential to drive away investors.
