The Board and Management of NIB Bank have denied claims by Bolga Central MP Isaac Adongo, that for one year, the Bank's Managing Director has been managing the Bank via Zoom.
Isaac Adongo made the claim in an interview on Joy FM.
Editor's Note
Last week Thursday on Top Story, we spoke to Minority Spokesperson on Finance, Isaac Adongo following a press conference by the Minority inParliament on the proposed acquisition of the National Investment Bank (NIB) by the Agricultural Development Bank (ADB).
During the interview, Mr. Adongo claimed that part of the NIB problem is that the Managing Director stayed in Canada for almost a year and “zoom managed” the bank from there. That is a claim we are unable to independently verify and we duly apologise to the Managing Director for any injury this might have caused him and the bank.
Below is the bank's reaction to the allegation.
