Eagle forces, an offshoot of the governing New Patriotic Party's invisible forces, a known vigilante group of the party has been honored.
The group received a citation congratulating them for their immense contribution to the success of the party in past and present times.
The award was part of many others given to well deserving members of the elephant family at both National and Regional levels of the party.
National Youth Organizer of the party, Sammy Awuku presented a citation on behalf the party to leader of the group, Ibrahim Adam.
The eagle forces, last April attacked and ejected the newly appointed Regional Manager of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) in Koforidua.
They locked the offices in demand for a true party man from the New Juaben South constituency to head the place.
They are also believed to have unleashed attacks on political opponents and heads of government institutions appointed by the erstwhile National Democratic Congress (NDC) government.
Others who received awards organized by the youth wing of the party in the region are Nsawam-Adoagyiri MP, Frank Annor Dompreh, National Youth Organizer, Sammy Awuku, his deputy, Dominic Eduah, among a host of others who supported the party financially during and after the 2016 elections.
