A member of the NPP Communications team, Ibrahim Adjei, says the the results of the Super Delgates' Congress is prove that the New Patriotic Party is united behind one leader, Nana Addo Danquah Akuffu Addo.
Speaking to Roland Walker on the AM Show on MultiTV, Mr Ibrahim said "The delegates and the party at large are united behind one solid leader". He continues that "you can have different interests of support. When you talk about this camp that camp clearly there is only one camp and that is Nana Addo's camp, NPP camp and that is the camp that we are seeking to project and partner with the aspirations of Ghanaians come 2016"
He advised the posture of the two cut-off candidates to be one that enhances the strong unity in the NPP to forward the aspirations of Ghanaians. He also called on them to join Nana Addo's camp.
He adds “come 18th of October the electoral college will elect Nana Addo”.

The super delegates congress to shortlist five candidates for the electoral college that will eventually elect a presidential aspirant for the 2016 national general elections took place on Sunday 31st August. It has shortlisted Nana Ado Danquah Akuffu Addo, Alan Kyeremanteng, Joe Ghartey, Osei Ameyaw and Francis Addai-Nimo, as top 5 candidates.
However, Former Attorney-General and Minister for Justice, and Deputy Speaker of Parliament Joe Ghartey has stated he will no longer contest.
Mr Ibrahim called on the three other candidates who made the shortlist to see the popularity of two-time presidential aspirant of the NPP and step down because; "there is a vein of the support and it has been there since 2008 and it continues to be for Nana Addo Danquah Akuffu Addo. Go on the airwaves and online as well and all the people are saying it. There you see the desire of people both within the NPP and Ghana at large”.
He rebutted comments that such calls are conspiracies to get Nana Addo acclaimed as the NPP presidential candidate and says "It is a fact borne out of his political legacy. People trust , admire and see Nana Addo Danquah as a leader for our party"
