The National Championship of the 2021 National Science & Maths Quiz (NSMQ) has been slated for October 26.
146 Senior High Schools nationwide will converge to slug it out for the trophy and the bragging right as champions of science and mathematics education in Ghana.
The national championship which usually takes place in June had to be delayed due to changes in the academic calendar of Senior High Schools, owing to the impact of COVID-19.
The official launch will take place on October 19; a week later, 119 schools will contest at the Preliminary Stage, which will be organised on regional and zonal basis.

The organisers, Primetime Limited, took this initiative, aimed at reducing the number of schools that will finally converge in camp for the subsequent stages of the national championship.
Reigning champion, Presbyterian Boys' Secondary School and 26 other seeded schools will later join the competition at the One-eighth Stage when the 54 qualifying schools from the Preliminary Stage have been determined.
PRESEC Legon will be yearning to make a third consecutive appearance at the Grand Finale on November 26 and possibly extend their dominance in the competition.
Below is the schedule for the Preliminary Stage of the 2021 National Science & Maths Quiz:
