The Diaspora Affairs Office of the Presidency has officially endorsed culinary content creator Chef Abbys’ brand and its Diaspora Culinary Initiatives.
This endorsement spearheaded by the Director of Diaspora Affairs, Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD) aims to celebrate Ghana's culinary excellence while fostering deeper connections with the global diaspora.
In recognition of Chef Abbys' craft, the Office looks forward to partnering with her brand to amplify its Diaspora Culinary Initiatives, which align with the Office's theme, "Build Bridges & Break Barriers."
Additionally, the endorsement seeks to explore opportunities for collaboration with the Chef Abbys brand in areas such as Diaspora Engagement Events, Skills Exchange & Training, Gastronomy & Heritage Diplomacy, and International Cultural Diplomacy, to ensure that its impact extends across borders.
A portion of the agreement states that, "As a token of our endorsement, the Office of the Diaspora Affairs will work with your team to amplify the visibility of these impact initiatives across our global diaspora networks, encourage participation by both public and private sector partners and provide protocol facilitation to ensure broad-based stakeholder engagement. This will amplify media and content collaboration."
Through her unique blend of gastronomy, culture, and diaspora engagement, Chef Abbys is positioning Ghanaian cuisine as a global cultural export that promotes tourism, trade, and soft diplomacy.

Her initiatives also align with the government’s 24-hour Economy agenda and the Black Star Experience, spotlighting the hospitality and creative industries as engines of youth employment, investment, and diaspora collaboration.
As part of the endorsement, the Diaspora Affairs Office will collaborate with Chef Abbys to amplify the visibility of her initiatives across global networks, integrate her brand into diaspora engagement programs, and expand Ghana’s influence in international cultural diplomacy.
Chef Abbys has gained social media traction with her unique indigenous African food content, earning the attention and admiration of people across Africa and beyond.
