General Officer Commander of the Southern Command Ghana Army Brigadier General Thomas Oppong Peprah has assured troops that he will make sure their needs are met to enable them to continue the good works they are doing in conflict areas.
Oppong Peprah made the promise when he conducted an operational assessment at the security operational areas of the 66 artillery regiment.
His visit was to see how the officers are faring in the unit while also encouraging them to work hard as they wait for their accommodation and allowances to be issued shortly, he said.
The General said government is committed in making sure that their safety and other issues of concern are addressed as soon as possible.
Commander rear for the 66 artillery regiment Major Appiah Sarpong said the visit of the General officer commanding of the southern zone was a morale boost to the officers.
The General and his team also visited Krachi West and Alavanyo.
