Joy News has received word that oil has been discovered in the Volta Region at Nkwanta North.A resident there made the find Friday afternoon. He was digging a well deep into the ground when crude oil began to ooze out.John Oti Bless, the area MP, confirmed the discovery to Joy News, adding that military personnel have been deployed to the site so as to keep the situation under control.
