One person, according to an eyewitness, has lost his life in a fatal accident at the Accra end of the Accra-Tema Motorway Tuesday.
Winslow Wyn Gad who witnessed the accident told Myjoyonline.com, it involved a mini articulated truck carrying scrap from Kumasi to Tema and five other vehicles.
The victim is believed to be the driver of the articulated truck which rolled into a ditch around the Accra end of the toll booth.
The body was recovered after a police towing car had pulled the car from the ditch.
Two other persons are said to be injured in the accident and are in critical condition.
Although it is still not clear the cause of the accident, the eyewitness said the heavy downpour might have caused it.
The Police are currently at the scene controlling the situation there.
