Public Relations Officer for Accra Hearts of Oak, Kwame Opare Addo, has urged club supporters to disregard allegations made against them by the Technical Director of Inter Allies, Willie Klutse.
The technical director had hinted foul play in their 3-2 defeat against Hearts but Opare Addo believes Klutse is trying to find excuses for their defeat.
“I don’t understand why Willie Klutse is blaming Kwame Baah for their loss against us,” Opare told Asempa Sports
“I am urging our supporters to stay away from what Willie Klutse is saying because we know we did not pay any bribe to their goalkeeper and I want to say it on authority that no official member of Hearts of Oak approached Kwame Baah to give him a bribe,’ he added.
According to him, the jersey their keeper wore was not the one they presented at the pre-match conference so the fourth official told him to change it before they start the second half.
“If you blame the goalkeeper, you are wrong because he was not the one who went for the pre-match conference but rather you blame the team manager for the wrong thing that happened,” Opare explained.
Kwame Opare Addo said, "They want to frustrate us with their shambolic performance but we are very much focused on a team and nothing will distract us from reaching our goal.”
