Opportunity International Savings and Loans Limited (OISL) has organised an exhibition for some beneficiaries of their Kayayie project on April 2 and 5, in Accra and Kumasi respectively.
The exhibition brought together 20 ladies who have undergone skills training through the Institutions Kayayie project which is currently being supported and funded by the Medicor Foundation.
The Kayaye project by Opportunity International Savings and Loans Ltd. seeks to empower women, particularly Head Porters (Kayaye), who have migrated from the Northern part of Ghana to the South in search of economic opportunities.

Since the inception of the project in 2019, the project has transformed two hundred and sixty-two (262) ladies with livelihood and life skills.
The exhibition events provided an opportunity for these beneficiaries to present and market their products to both the general public and some clients of the institution.
Featured among the array of items which were on display were Hand Sanitisers, Liquid Soaps, Floor Cleaners, Powdered Soaps, Antiseptics, Earrings, Bangles, Beaded Slippers, Shower Gels, and many more.

The atmosphere was charged with excitement, as Senior Management and Staff from OISL joined in to celebrate the accomplishments of these dedicated and hardworking ladies.
Kwame Owusu-Boateng, CEO of Opportunity International Savings and Loans Ltd. congratulated the ladies for their achievements and hard work, assuring them of the company's continual support.
He also expressed gratitude to all participants for their support.
The results of the events were indeed impressive, as clients, staff, and the general public showed their support by purchasing the majority of the products on display.

Additionally, some members of the public exchanged contacts with the ladies for potential future collaborations.
