The paramount chief of Osudoku, Nene Klagborjor Animle V has condemned the police in the area for failing to stop the installation of Kwesi Animle as a chief. The installation nearly resulted in a conflict in the area. The paramount chief earlier wrote to the Akuse district and Akosombo regional police informing them about the threats posed by the installation but the police failed to act and the installation was held.According to Joy FM's reporter, Benjamin Tetteh, the paramount chief argues that Kwesi Animle was not qualified to claim the stool of the village of Tokpo.Nene Animle V said the stool was acceded to on rotational basis and that it was not the turn of Kwesi Animle.Allowing the claimant therefore to be installed could disturb the peace, he argued.Source: Joy News/Ghana
