About 4,081 students and staff have resolved to be God-fearing torchbearers in a country where decency and moral rectitude are in short supply.
Mostly students and staff of tertiary institutions, National Service Personnel as well as professionals agreed on a set of recommendations and actions to achieve their objective.
This was contained in a communiqué issued after the 2014 National Campus Community Congress organised by The Deeper Life Campus Fellowship from July 16th to 20th at the Deeper Life Campground, Brofoyedru, Kumasi. The communiqué was jointly signed by National Overseer, Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Ghana – Pastor John Borham and National Coordinator, Deeper Life Campus Fellowship, Pastor Francis Fosu.
The congress’s objective was to produce people who will become agents of change in Ghana, the statement said.
“That participants will be committed to crying and interceding on behalf of their campuses and the nation as a whole until righteousness and the glory of God be restored to our nation,” it promised.
