P Diddy is counting his blessings after a horror car smash that left him lying hurt on the side of the road - admitting it "was a close one".
The rapper's chauffeur-driven Cadillac Escalade collided with a Lexus outside the Beverly Hills hotel on Sunset Boulevard.
The 4x4 crushed on impact and photos taken in the aftermath show the 42-year-old lying hurt on the side of the road.
Diddy refused offers of an ambulance at the time - but his spokesman has revealed he sought medical treatment after the smash for "multiple injuries".
In a statement he said: "Sean Combs sustained multiple injuries in yesterday’s car accident including to his neck, ribs and collarbone.
"He is currently receiving treatment for these injuries from his physicians and would like to thank all of his fans for the outpouring of support that he has received since the accident."
The star also addressed the accident on Twitter, telling followers: "WOAH... THAT WAS A CLOSE ONE!"
It's unknown if Diddy's driver, and fellow passenger record boss Andre Hurrell, were hurt in the crash.
But the driver of the Lexus was treated at a nearby hospital for unspecified injuries.
