All 275 MPs are expected back in Parliament following a recall to consider "urgent business".
Without providing any further details, a statement signed by the Speaker Prof. Mike Ocquaye said the MPs are to report on Friday 27 April 2018.
The MPs have been on holiday since March 30, 2018.
But before recessing, Information Minister, Mustapha Hamid said the MPs could be recalled to ratify a 2015 military cooperation agreement with the US signed by the Mahama administration.
The 2015 agreement was not known until the Akufo-Addo government released it to the media. The Information Minister explained it was proper to bring the deal to parliament to give it "legal authority".
The 2015 deal formed the basis of a 2018 agreement which stirred controversy over fears Ghana has sold its sovereignty to the US.
The Minority in Parliament spearheaded a campaign against the deal. But the President, Nana Akufo-Addo chided the opposition NDC for hypocrisy citing the 2015 military pact.
It appears the government wants to demonstrate the NDC's "hypocrisy" by forcing the NDC MPs to state its position on the 2015 military deal after it resisted the passage of a similar 2018 deal.
Recalls are however costly as the taxpayer would have to foot the bill of transporting all 275 MPs back to the capital, Accra.
The last time Parliament was recalled was in December 2017 when Minority Chief Whip, Muntaka Mohammed led a demand for an inquiry into the cash-for-seat saga.
