Ghanaian defender Kojo Peprah Oppong has confirmed that French Ligue 1 side OGC Nice have submitted an official bid for his services.
Talks are currently ongoing between Nice and Swedish club IFK Norrköping regarding a potential transfer.
The 21-year-old centre-back joined Norrköping in 2023 from the Attram De Visser Soccer Academy in Ghana.
Speaking to NT-sporten about the possible move to France, Oppong said: “All I know is that they have made an offer and that the clubs are discussing. I think it would be a really good step for me.”
Norrköping’s sporting director, Magni Fannberg, also confirmed the growing interest in the young defender:
“We even saw it after the loan in Sundsvall. It has only gotten bigger during the spring and summer,” he stated.
After a quiet debut season, where he made just one appearance in the Allsvenskan, he was loaned out to GIF Sundsvall in the Swedish second tier, Superettan.
During his two-year loan spell at Sundsvall, Oppong made 42 appearances, gaining valuable experience and impressing with his consistent performances.
His development earned him a return to Norrköping, where he has since made 14 appearances in 2025.
