Host nation Equatorial Guinea and Congo shared the spoils in the opening game of the 2015 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) played at Bata, Saturday.
The two teams scored a goal in each half in the opening match of Group A.
The host nation scored first on the 16th minute mark through Captain Emilio Nsue after Kike outrun his marker on the touchline and gave him the pass that produced the goal.
Replays, however, showed the Equator-Guinean captain who also plays for Middlesbrough in England, looked offside.
But Congo came back from recess stronger and mounted pressure on Equatorial Guinea which produced the equalizer through Thievy Bifouma, who formerly played for West Brom in England.
