President John Mahama has paid a heartfelt tribute to the late former Chairperson of the Council of State and National Democratic Congress (NDC) stalwart, Cecilia Johnson, praising her for her remarkable service and unwavering commitment to national development.
He described her as “a shining example for women in leadership” and lauded her integrity, dedication, and decency in political life.

President Mahama urged the country’s political class to uphold the values she represented.
A State Funeral was held earlier today, where family, friends, politicians, and dignitaries gathered to honour her memory.
