Ghana is blessed with many minerals, however, in the quest to exploit them, the country's beautiful environment is in disarray.
Government has since worked earnestly to control illegal mining, popularly known as galamsey.
Led by the Lands and Natural Resources Ministry, government is holding a dialogue on how small-scale mining can be operated without badly affecting the environment.
The event is graced by President Akufo-Addo, Lands and Natural Minerals Minister, Samuel Jinapor, Chief of Staff, Frema Opare and many other dignitaries.
