The track and field events won Ghana two bronze medals at the just ended Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
Joseph Paul Amoah (200m) and Deborah Acquah (Women’s Long Jump) were medalists in the athletics events, joining Joseph Commey, Wahid Omar and Abraham Mensah, who also won medals in their respective boxing events.
With these medals from Birmingham and the recent performances of the athletics team, Evans Mensah hosted George Addo Jnr, Gary Al-Smith and Fentuo Tahiru Fentuo, all with the Joy Sports team to discuss Ghana’s recent resurgence in the athletics discipline tonight on JoyNews' PM Express.
