The outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in Ghana, over a year ago, has had devastating effect on the economy as well as businesses in the country.
The shock caused by the virus has had considerable impact on Ghanaian businesses, forcing many firms to cut costs by reducing staff hours, cutting wages, and in some cases laying off workers. This has left many Ghanaians jobless.
Although the country seems to be on the verge of recovery, businesses are yet to fully recover from the cold hands of the virus.
In that regard, Joy News’ George Wife hosted Chief Executive of Association of Ghana Industries, Seth Twum Akwaboah on tonight's Business Edition of PM Express as they analyze the state of industries in Ghana amid Covid-19.
