FORGIVE ME

Observing the Spiritual literary drama

before the throne of Judgment,

I realized man is born poor

'coz I saw men who blamed death

for the cause of their woes

I saw men whose gold could not save them from the tearing whips of the devil

I saw you too, that poor man, who unconsciously stammered as his life was played back to him

I witnessed scenes of shock

as God made sign languages

in a battlefield with "dumb" actors

I saw that minor miss eternity

I bowed in shame to that woman

who said paradise was sin

as she could not live life to its fullest

I  was amazed at the cost of the moralists

as they sunk in deep burns of unquenchable fire

But also, I saw some of these walk the narrow road.

To this,

Man is not his money

Man is not his poverty

Man is not his race or colour

Man is what you were

When God says you are

In the after-life.
