Black Princesses forward Sanai Sereboe has expressed delight in joining the squad as they prepare for the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup.
The 17-year-old received her first call-up to the national team earlier this month after being observed by head coach Charles Sampson and his technical staff.
Over the course of the week, the wide player has been training with the rest of her teammates at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence ahead of the game.
Speaking to the GFA media team, Sanai was thrilled to have touched base with her roots.
"It feels great [to be part of this team] because everything fell in place in order for me to come here, which was a struggle [in the past]," she said.
"It's been good, it's very intense and definitely a lot of hardwork which I expected, but it's very intense and forces you to think quickly and become a stronger and better player.
"My expectation is that we are able to win the qualifiers and we get the opportunity to go to Poland next year."
The Black Princesses will begin their U-20 World Cup qualifiers against Tunisia in Tunis on September 20, 2025, before hosting them in the return leg in Accra on September 28, 2025.
