They are the Forecourt of the State House; Accra International Conference Centre; Intercontinental Bank Car Park; Ohene Djan Sports Stadium; the Ministries Area; National Theatre and Efua Sutherland Children's Park.
It said traffic police officers would be on hand to direct and assist motorists to the appropriate car parks and diverted roads.
The police advised motorists to avoid parking within the perimeter of the circle around the Independence Arch and on the verges of the road from the intersection at the CEPS Headquarters through the Ghana Water Company Headquarters.
The Police warned that any vehicle parked at these unauthorised places would be towed for GH¢50 for saloon cars and mini buses and GH¢75 for other vehicles.
