Police in Accra have arrested seven suspected armed robbers in two separate operations.
The police first arrested a notorious gang of four, led by 55 year old driver Adjei Ali, who attempted to rob a company of several millions of cedis in Kokomlemle.
The gang included 26 year old Phillip Appiah, 25 year old labourer Jospeh Nwai, and Nii Okai Mubarak.
A locally manufactured pistol and cutlass were retrieved from them.
Another gang of three men were reported to have also attacked a store at the GREDA Estates Roundabout and managed to get away with over four hundred cedis cash.
