The Winneba District Police Commander, Assistant Superintendent of Police Jordan Quaye, has warned police personnel in the district against getting involved in chieftaincy disputes.
He appealed to them not to engage in political affairs that might compromise their professional conduct and fairness.
Mr Quaye was addressing some 150 police personnel from the Winneba District Police command and Police Training School after an endurance march at Winneba.
"It is illegal to interfere in chieftaincy, land cases and debt collection, except there is an element of crime to be prevented or combated".
