President John Dramani Mahama is expected to address a durbar of Chiefs and People of Cape Coast to climax the Fetu Festival.
Reports indicate that a major street in the township – the road from Cape Coast Castle to Mfantsipim junction (Commercial Street) - has been named after late President John Evans Atta Mills as part of the activities marking the festival.
Joy FM correspondent Richard Kojo Nyarko reported that the street was named after the late president by Omahene of the Oguaa Traditional Area, Osaberema Kwesi Arthur in recognition of Professor Mills’ contribution to development in the region and the nation as a whole.
