President Mills is to undertake a three-day official tour of the Eastern Region from Thursday, October 15 to Saturday October 17, a statement signed by Mr. Mahama Ayariga, Presidential Spokesperson has said.
It said during the visit, President Mills would pay a courtesy call on the Okuapemhene and his elders and address a durbar of Chiefs and People of the Krobo State at Somanya on October 15.
It said on Friday, October 16, President Mills would visit Mpreaso, Ekye-Amanfrom and Donkorkrom during which he would pay courtesy calls on the chiefs and elders, inspect on-going projects and address durbars of the chiefs and peoples of those areas.
President Mills would on Saturday, October 17 pay a courtesy call on the Okyehene and his elders at Kyebi, visit Osiem for the commissioning of the Saviour Church Hospital and round up the visit with a grand durbar of chiefs and people of the Eastern Region at Koforidua Jackson's Park.Source: GNA
