Gradually, the Ghanaian topflight nears the final stages but with no clear-cut candidate for the Glo Premier League title.
With five more matches to go, the race for the top and the battle to avoid any of the two relegation slots dominates every match day.
On Sunday, all sixteen sides will be in action as leaders, Berekum Chelsea, who hold an impressive three-point lead face a big test to their bid to stay at the summit after the final whistle of the match-day-26 games.
Chelsea will have to make a difficult trip to Accra to face an in-form Hearts of Oak, who after spells in the drop zone have closed in on a top-four place.
If Chelsea fails to pick all three points from the Accra Sports Stadium, the guard at the top might change again as Asante Kotoko and Medeama lie in wait.
Kotoko, second on the standings away to Berekum Arsenal at the Golden City Park. With the Gunners sweating to escape relegation, they will be eager to win over the champions.
Medeama, who are picked one point from a possible nine from their last three games will try to get back to winning ways when bottom side, Real Tamale United arrive at the T&A Park.
Impressive Ebusua Dwarfs, ranked outsiders for the title as they sit five points adrift the top travel to the Gyamfi Park to face New Edubiase.
AshantiGold will keep their hopes of breaking into the top four at the back of the minds when they make the short trip to Kumasi to play King Faisal.
Aduana will welcome Liberty Professionals to the Agyemang Badu Park while Heart of Lions host Amidaus Professionals at the Kpando Park.
The survival hopes of Tema Youth will be tested at home when they play Wa All Stars at the Tema Stadium to round up a busy weekend of premiership action.
