As the world marked World Radio Day on Friday, February 13, representatives from Provident Insurance joined Joy FM’s Super Morning Show to celebrate the enduring role of radio in connecting communities and supporting businesses.
Speaking on the show, the Ashaiman branch's manager, Andrew Baah, emphasised the importance of radio as a medium for information, education, and national development.
“On the 13th of every year, we are very much aware that the world celebrates World Radio Day. As a business, we recognise that radio connects communities and supports businesses,” he said.

He further commended media professionals, including presenters, producers, and other behind-the-scenes personnel, for their dedication to making radio a vital part of society.
Mr Baah also took the opportunity to highlight Provident Insurance’s motor insurance promotion for the first quarter of the year.
Customers who visit any Provident branch to take up motor insurance are entitled to a range of incentives, including souvenirs and fuel coupons, adding value to their policy and rewarding client loyalty.
Meanwhile, Clement Appiah Kyei, head of the East Legon branch, expressed gratitude to the company’s long-standing partners, agents, and clients.
