Prudential Life Insurance Ghana has rewarded 76 of its best-performing sales staff with luxury overseas holidays to Singapore, Dubai and Sao Tome.
They comprise of 54 of its top agents, 19 sales staff from its Bancassurance partners (Societe Generale, Fidelity Bank and Zenith Bank) and three sales staff from its Brokers.
The agents received the prizes after making an outstanding contribution to Prudential Ghana’s strong growth over the past year.
The agents were presented with their awards at Prudential’s fifth Annual Agency Gala and Awards ceremony at the Kempinski Gold Coast City Hotel in Accra.
Prudential has rewarded more agents each year as the business has grown rapidly since 2014.
The various categories of award winners include 24 that made it into the Prudential Africa Diamond Club, which is an exclusive membership of the top performing agents across Africa, where Prudential operates in five countries; Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Uganda and Zambia.
The Emerald Club consists of Prudential’s Bancassurance partners who qualified for the international trip and this year they numbered 19. All Diamond and Emerald Club winners enjoyed an all-expense paid trip plus pocket money to Singapore with a stopover trip in Dubai for shopping.
The 30 Platinum Club members were rewarded with an all-expense paid trip to Sao Tome. This is the first out-of-country trip for Platinum Club members, as they have previously enjoyed local trips to various tourist destinations in Ghana.
Prudential launched two new award categories this year on its Gala night. First, is the Prudential Life Club that consists of Diamond Club members who have qualified for at least three out of Prudential’s five international trips. There are currently six agents in that category.
The second award consists of agents who have qualified to attend the million dollar round table (MDRT) conference to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. MDRT is a premier international association of financial professionals and Prudential has 10 qualifying agents for the 2019 edition.
This is the first time Prudential agents have qualified for MDRT.
Emmanuel Aryee, the Chief Executive of Prudential Life Insurance Ghana, said: “Each successive year is bigger and better and I am proud of this amazing team that keeps on challenging itself and achieving great feats. We are excited for 2019 and Prudential Life insurance Ghana is committed to supporting and rewarding the hard work of its staff and agents.”
Godwin Brew, Prudential’s 5-time Diamond/Life Club member said: “Working with Prudential has changed my life. I have worked hard to rise up the ranks and I speak for my colleagues and me when I say, we are grateful for Prudential’s support, recognition and rewards every step of the way, to get us where we are. We take our mandate of helping Ghanaians to secure their future seriously and look forward to another exciting year of achieving more.”
