Below is the congratulatory message to the President and Ghanaians
The National Executive Council of PUSAG on behalf of all students in the private universities congratulates Ghana’s President, John Dramani Mahama, on his election as the fourth President of the fourth Republic of Ghana, in an election which has been recognized both locally and internationally as free, fair, and transparent.
This is the sixth time that Ghanaians have enjoyed peaceful Presidential and Parliamentary elections since 1992.
Most importantly, we want to duly commend the good people of Ghana for showcasing their effervescent belief in democracy and playing a major role in the election with almost eighty per cent of registered voters casting their votes to elect their credible candidates.
Also, we would want to extend our gratitude to the government, Electoral Commission, Political parties, The Peace Council and all other stakeholders for ensuring a peaceful election.
We hope that the tranquility and truth that we displayed during the election will transform to the development of our dear nation and the Private Universities Students’ Association of Ghana (PUSAG) is always happy and ready to partner government to achieve its goals, especially, in the key area of Ghana’s youth empowerment and development.
Long Live Ghana! Long live her people! Long live PUSAG! Thank you.
PUSAG!!! Holistic Education For Better Ghana.
