Ghanaian singer and songwriter RCee has released the official music video for his song Money Makes The World Go Round (MMTWGR), offering fans a suspense-filled visual that blends music with cinematic storytelling.

Rather than following the traditional performance video format, the new visual unfolds like a short thriller. It follows RCee and his lover as they flee with a suitcase believed to be filled with money, while being relentlessly pursued by unknown assailants.

As the story progresses, trust between the pair begins to unravel. In a dramatic twist, RCee's lover betrays him in an attempt to keep the money for herself. However, her plan quickly backfires when she discovers that she escaped with the wrong suitcase, bringing the story to an unexpected conclusion and reinforcing the video's themes of greed, deception and consequence.

Directed by Elroy Salam for Amin Studio, the video combines suspense, cinematic visuals and polished production to create a compelling narrative that goes beyond the music itself. The film-inspired approach reflects the growing trend of African artistes using storytelling to enhance the impact of their music videos.
