Zamalek's newly-elected chairman Mamdouh Abbas has vowed to mend the strained relationship between Black Stars striker Manuel Junior Agogo and the club.
Abbas signed the striker from Nottingham Forest during his first tenure last summer. But his departure following an acrimonious power struggle with the club's board open the gates for the forward's his troubles.
In February this year, Agogo complained that he had been deducted US$ 200,000 because he did not sweat in a match.
The 29-year-old terminated his contract with the White Knights and lodged a complaint with Fifa for breach of contract following the club's refusal to pay his five-month wages.
Abbas has also promised to help striker Shikabala who fell-out with the technical staff.
"I will bring Shikabala and Agogo back to the team, because nowadays competent strikers are extremely hard to find," the new Zamalek president told Al-Hayat TV.
Agogo scored three goals in the league as Zamalek finished a disappointing sixth-place.
