Premier League referees promise a good season as they also pledge to ensure professional standards.
The referees body, the Referees Association of Ghana (RAG) and the Ghana Football Association (GFA) together with the Premier League Board (PLB) met on Friday to discuss other matters and the new season on Sunday.
RAG also assured the GFA and the league organizers of an improved performance from the previous season.
After hailing the referees for their performances last season, the GFA also demanded of them to crackdown on ball-boys who intentionally disrupt play by throwing extra balls onto the pitch during matches.
The GFA told the meeting that it is seeking sponsorship as well as an insurance package for referees in the Ghana Premier League to help improve their conditions of service.
RAG were also assured that, efforts are being made to clear some of the outstanding payments from the matches they officiated in the second-half of last season.
