DAkpabli & Associates, a publishing house, has announced the upcoming book launch of SEEDTime: Selected Poems I by esteemed poet Prof. Kofi Anyidoho.
The event will take place on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at La Maison Francais, University of Ghana, Legon, starting at 5 pm.
SEEDTime: Selected Poems I showcases the brilliance and artistry of Prof. Kofi Anyidoho, who has long been recognised as a literary colossus in Ghana and beyond.

As one of Ghana's most celebrated poets, Prof. Kofi Anyidoho has received numerous accolades for his contributions to literature and his profound impact on the literary landscape.
His unique poetic style, characterised by rhythmic patterns, captivating imagery, and evocative storytelling, has garnered international acclaim.
Some of his most recent recognitions include the Fonlon-Nichols Award presented to him by the African Literature Association for excellence in creative writing and contributions to the struggle for human rights and freedom of expression and other various roles since 1975.
He was also named a distinguished scholarship honouree (conferred a doctorate) by the University of Ghana at a special congregation in April 2023. In 2022, he was awarded the greatest poetic award for life's work, the Golden Key of Smederevo.
This was awarded by the Republic of Serbia.
