Stonebwoy’s much-anticipated Anloga Junction album listening came off on Thursday, live on Joy Prime, a day prior to the release.
The artiste said he had to prepare for months to get everything right from the name right down to the release date.
Speaking at the 'Anloga Junction' album listening with Jay Foley on Joy Prime, he explained that he needed not just a name, but, produce music that even though had foreign influences still paid respect to old Ghanaian music.
“My previous projects have seen me do the most in my area of comfort. But my area of comfort actually is more than one, you realize that I go everywhere, so this is time to put that (foreign) influence and this influence together at this juncture and at this juncture I am at the Anloga Junction.
“Where Anloga represents every inspiration from home and junction represents every inspiration and influence I’ve had outside,” he said.
Stonebwoy added that to give his fans the best of the best influences he featured producers from Ghana and other award-winning producers from the west.
Some of them include Mix Master Garzy, Streetbeatz, MOG, Spanker, Riga, Phantom and many others.
Stonwbwoy performed some tracks on the album live with the Bhim band.
