Real Tamale United beat Kumasi Asante Kotoko by a lone goal scored deep into the second half to pick their first win away from home in the ongoing One Touch Premier League.
Suleiman Faisal was the lone goal hero for United who had a goal disallowed. Kotoko themselves squandered a penalty as newly signed Emmanuel Osei Kufuor drove his kick at the post.
The result leaves Asante Kotoko four points behind leaders Accra Hearts of Oak, who also fell by a lone goal to Tema Youth in their game played on Saturday. Hearts have 45 points.
With six matches to go, AshantiGold have a chance to upstage Kotoko. They have 40 points and yet to play their 24th week match against a rather difficult opponent in Berekum Arsenals who would themselves bring their points build up at par with Ashgold should they win. Their encounter is fixed for March 11.
In a week that saw as many as four away wins, Great Olympics thumped their ‘hosts’ Liberty Professionals by a lone goal, courtesy Richard Kissi’s own goal.

Bofoakwa Tano’s game with Feyenoord at the Coronation Park was pushed to March 4 to make way for the first leg Ghana vrs Nigeria All Africa games final eliminator, which ended goalless.
The return encounter is in two weeks.
