Ghanaian music heavyweight and Reggae/Dancehall icon, Samini, is gearing up to shake the global music scene once again with a powerful new partnership.
The acclaimed artist has secured a major promotional deal with international streaming platform Audiomack to support the rollout of his much-anticipated album, ORIGIN8A.
The partnership was recently finalized in New York during a high-level engagement with a senior Audiomack marketing executive. Through this collaboration, Audiomack will leverage its global platform and extensive promotional reach to amplify the visibility and distribution of the ORIGIN8A album across the world.
This marks a significant career milestone for Samini, as the deal is set to provide massive exposure for the album’s rollout. ORIGIN8A is already making waves thanks to its lead single, Chaana, a collaboration with the Grammy Award-winning Soweto Gospel Choir. The song—which means “shine”—has been receiving widespread praise and streaming traction for its uplifting message and strong Pan-African appeal, setting the tone for the rest of the album.
Speaking about the project, Samini noted, “We want to challenge ourselves… I felt I’ve released enough music over the years, so if I’m doing something now, it must be a special project—one that reflects who I am and what I stand for.”
ORIGIN8A lives up to that intent, offering a rich and dynamic body of work that mirrors Samini’s musical growth and legacy. With collaborations from celebrated Ghanaian artists like Stonebwoy and Kofi Kinaata, the album blends diverse sounds and storytelling styles. Audiomack’s backing is expected to significantly elevate the project’s reach, boosting Samini’s digital footprint and connecting him with a broader global audience.
Renowned for his consistency and influence in Ghana’s music scene, this latest move further cements Samini’s legacy and positions him as a key figure in shaping Africa’s music narrative. ORIGIN8A isn’t just an album—it’s a bold new chapter, and with Audiomack in the mix, fans worldwide are in for something extraordinary.
