On July 18, eyes across the continent will turn to South Africa for the launch of M-Net’s Big Brother All Stars when Jamaican dancehall superstar Sean Paul will take centre stage.
M-Net has scooped the Grammy award-winning artist who will perform three of his popular songs on a glittering night, seeing 14 housemates from 14 countries make their way into a brand new Big Brother house. The mission; to take on a 91 day reality journey in the search for “a winner takes all” grand prize of USD 200 000!
Since his breakout 2002 hit 'Gimme The Light', the talented performer has been hard at work releasing four albums in quick succession: from the success of his multi-platinum Grammy winning classic album 'Dutty Rock', to the launch of the 2005 RIAA platinum smash 'The Trinity', to his latest offering 'Imperial Blaze', the Kingston born singer has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide and has collaborated with hip hop stars like 50 Cent, The Clipse and Busta Rhymes in the past.
He’s also recorded several hit duets including the recent remix of Estelle's 'Come on Over', preceded by 'Give It Up To Me' with Keyshia Cole, 'Break It Off' with Rihanna, 'Baby Boy' with Beyonce, and 'Give It to You Girl' with Eve.
Now with Sean Paul jetting in to perform at the Big Brother All Stars launch from Casablanca where he is currently touring, the launch of the 91 day reality super-series is set to get off to a spectacular start!
Meanwhile, M-Net today also released sneak peek images of the new, refurbished Big Brother Africa house and the transformation from the tough, gritty 'Revolution' to the sensational 'All Stars' version is complete…with the photographs showcasing a contemporary, streamlined and luxurious atmosphere.
