The Minister of Education, Science and Sports, Papa Owusu Ankomah on Monday inspected progress of work at the Sekondi Sports Stadium Complex at Essipong near Sekondi.
The visit by the Minister formed part of his duty tour of the Western Region.
Mr. Zang Yonghin, General Manager of Shanghai Construction, contractors of the project conducted the Minister round the various units and stages of works so far undertaken.
He told the Minister that the project was 70 percent complete and the finishing touches would be fully implemented and handed over by September this year.
